Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Client Executive to be a part of our energetic Business Development Team. The perfect fit for this role would be someone with solid experience in sales and client management, especially focused on the USG. This position demands a thorough knowledge of U.S. Government Acquisition and the Business Development lifecycle, along with a demonstrated ability to handle intricate settings effectively.

What You'll Do:

  • Devise and implement strategies to cultivate and sustain a new business pipeline within specific client segments, including the Defense and Federal sectors.
  • Interact with current and prospective clients and partners to collect insights about market demands, acquisition tactics, and contractual preferences.
  • Determine client needs and convert these into compelling value propositions for Ridgeline products.
  • Partner with senior leadership to plan and prioritize business capture initiatives.
  • Work intimately with technical teams to develop entry strategies for new products.
  • Team up with Client Delivery and Operations to better understand market dynamics and boost sales in your area.
  • Keep an eye on industry trends and competitors to refine market positioning and capture market share.
  • Assist in producing white papers, proposals, RFI responses, and other business development materials.
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure our products and services are priced competitively.
  • Participate in wider business development efforts and program management as required.
  • Oversee projects through all stages of the Program Management Life Cycle to guarantee successful execution.

First Six Months Goals:

  • Rapidly assimilate Ridgeline’s offerings to identify and engage potential new clients.
  • Target, chase, and strive to secure three to five major deals.
  • Utilize your business development expertise to develop targeted strategies that enhance revenue in your portfolio.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable military experience.
  • Profound understanding of both technical and operational facets important to our clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and effectiveness in dealing with U.S. government clients.
  • Proven track record in spearheading $1m opportunities from inception to proposal stage.
  • Familiarity with competitors and a nuanced understanding of market dynamics.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; adept at presenting to high-level executives and government officials.
  • Capacity to pinpoint growth opportunities and generate new business in line with Ridgeline’s offerings and strategic objectives.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Advanced degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Technical program management prowess or a solid technical foundation in software development, systems engineering, or network engineering.
  • Previous experience with the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.
  • Experience managing a robust pipeline of opportunities valued at $100M.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
